Abstract: Today solid-phase peptide synthesis is a streamlined, automated technology that makes synthetic peptides available to a larger gropu of researchers than ever before. Because many researchers rely on contract services to obtain their peptides, they are usually not familiar with "trick of the trade" in the design and handling of synthetic peptides and this in turn leads to less efficient planning of experiments. This book presents information that will prevent many of the problems encountered and help scientists to optimize their usage of synthetic peptides. |
