Abstract: Thirty-six species of wild cats (Felidae) recognized in the world today. Part 1 of this report presents evidence that eight of these species (with currently recognized subspecies) are endangered. This report draws upon the best scientific, commercial, and management data available today. Part 2 is an annotated list of species that cannot be considered endangered at the present time. |
