From 2005 to 2009, John L. Pilon conducted research at the NWRC on experimental vaccines for chronic wasting disease (CWD), as well as the application of the vaccine in mule deer. In addition, he conducted studies on decontamination methods to remove the disease from infected materials. The John L. Pilon Digital Research Files (NWRC 0048) contains research conducted by Pilon during his time as a Science Fellow at the NWRC. All materials in this collection are born-digital and include datasheets, presentations, images, figures and charts, correspondence, and papers related to Pilon's work on experimental vaccines to prevent CWD in mule deer. Also included are materials related to CWD decontamination studies. Materials in this collection are dated 2005-2009. |
