Description: |
The purpose of the Invasive Species Research Building project was to develop a research facility to be used to combat the nation's growing invasive species problem. It would be used to study these species and formulate methods for controlling their spread and damage. It included laboratory space, a cage washing facility, a necropsy room, and climate-controlled animal rooms. The project was initiated in the summer of 2002 and was headed up by William Dusenberry, the Program Manager for Facility Planning and Development at the NWRC. Compiled by William Dusenberry, this collection ranges from 2002-2008. It consists of 62 boxes divided into four series and is a total of 26.3 linear feet. It |
