Description: |
Over the years, the Mammal Damage Unit of the DWRC/NWRC conducetd research on topics such as coyote predation on livestock, rodent damage to crops and rangeland, rodent chewing of buried cables, and damage to timber production and reforestation efforts caused by deer and other animals. The Unit also studied the use of pesticides as well as methods to identifyy and develop non-lethal management methods for wildlife problems. |
