Description: |
The Master Plan NWRC Headquarters Site collection documents the transition to and growth of the National Wildlife Research Center's Foothills Campus site in Fort Collins, CO. Originally located in Denver, CO under the name of the Denver Wildlife Research Center (DWRC), the NWRC came into existence with the signing of a land lease in 1990 between APHIS and Colorado State University (CSU). In 1993 construction began on the first building at the site, the Animal Research Building (ARB.) This was followed by other additions, including the Wildlife Science Building, the Invasive Species Research Building, Outdoor Pen Project. This collection contains photos, correspondences, schedules, oversize blueprints, posters, plans, and financial information that document how each of these building projects were assimilated into the master site plan. |
