Description: |
The Jackrabbit Research Station opened in 1963 in Twin Falls, Idaho. In 1972 the station's research moved to predators, which remained the station's main focus until it closed in 1992. The Jackrabbit Research Station Records consist of materials dated 1929-1998, with the bulk of the material dated between 1960 and 1975. Included in the collection are field data, studies, reports, correspondence, and images related to studies on mammals, including jackrabbits, nutria, and coyotes. Much of the material pertains to toxicant studies involving these animals. |
