Note: Summary: Guy Connolly reminisces about his career as a wildlife research biologist working for the the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Range Surveys, the University of California at Davis-Hopland Field Station and the USDA's, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services, Denver Wildlife Research Center (DWRC). He discusses his work in wildlife and range management and depredation control research, including different methods he used such as trapping, M-44, and livestock protection collars. Connolly speaks of the attitudes and interactions between research and operations personnel and his role as a staff liaison. He also discusses the future of trapping and wildlife research management.
