Description: |
On a beautiful summer evening in Hope, we came upon a grizzly bear enjoying the breezy day, eating without a care in the world, across the road from the Windy Point entrance. We had taken our visiting family to Hope for the day. As we were heading back home, out the window I noticed some unusual movement in the ditch. I asked my husband to stop the vehicle so we could check it out and I?m glad we did because we has such an amazing opportunity to see this magnificent animal just a few feet from where we stopped. Alaska never disappoints with its wildlife and natural beauty. This certainly was a trip to remember. |
