Description: |
The relationship between Michigan WS and the Latvian military has been building for years with the first WS site visit to Lielvarde, Latvia in 2018. Small countries like Latvia do not have a network of airport wildlife personnel like in the US. Working with other countries is important for collaboration and exposure to unique wildlife management situations. Awareness in other countries also increases the safety for US aircraft and crews while on overseas deployments. |
