Description: |
This picture was taken at Everglades National Park, Royal Palm Visitor Center in Florida. This photo was taken as part of a study testing the effectiveness of visual deterrents on Black Vultures. At this site, Black Vultures tear apart windshield wipers and other rubber parts of visitor vehicles. In this photo a group of Black Vultures are attempting to damage our government vehicle. The NPS provides blue tarps to prevent vulture damage, but they're not always effective. |
