Wake Island barrel-pitfall trap. 3 hour surface-set near landfill with board ramps. Baited with peanut butter along rim (completely licked away) and 6 inches down inside barrel. 70 total Polynesian rats collected with 3 barrels. Image showing just one barrel. |
