Description: |
In many urban areas, where prairie dog densities can be up to 5 times higher than rural environments, the use of non-lethal methods to reduce conflicts are preferred. NWRC researchers found an oral contraceptive reduced the number of young per treated adult black-tailed prairie dog by 96 percent. |
