In 2014, the CBNEP partnered with the National Detector Dog Training Center (NDDTC) to develop the framework for the Nutria Detector Dog Program and to professionally train canine/handler teams. The NDDTC trains detector canines for various agencies including U.S. Customs and Border Protection and theU.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on targets ranging from agricultural products to contraband wildlife items. |
