Description: |
2015-2016 Wildlife Services Photo Contest Entry. This nest fell out of a tree at an airport but the red-tailed hawk nestlings survived. Wildlife Services biologists took the nestlings to a wildlife rehabilitator. By moving the hawks so young, it was less likely they would return to the airport and present a hazard to human health and safety as well as it being safer for the birds. |
