2015-2016 Wildlife Services Photo Contest Entry. The drainage ponds along the runway and taxiway were an attractant for a variety of species of birds. These Red-necked Phalopes could often be found in these ponds displaying courtship behavior during breeding season. It was important to prevent them from choosing this as a nesting area. |
