2015-2016 Wildlife Services Photo Contest Entry. American Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber) was observed filtering for food in ponds near active runways. Flamingo was considered a risk due to its proximity to the active runways. The Flamingo was removed and relocated to Everglades National Park.
