Description: |
NWRC researchers erected a polypropylene mesh fence along the wooded edge of a field in conjunction with extensions or "wings" at either end placed perpendicular from the fence line. This more cost-effective fence design reduced deer damage to the crops without having to enclose the area entirely. This image appeared in the 2014 NWRC Accomplishments Report, Spotlight: Deer and Elk, Physical Barriers. |
