Description: |
Wildlife Services often donates the meat from Canada geese collected during operational activities. To address food safety issues, NWRC researchers analyzed wild goose breast meat for residue concentrations of several environmental contaminants and compared it to levels found in commercially-raised poultry. This image appeared in the 2013 NWRC Accomplishments Report, Accomplishments in Brief: Environmental Contaminants in Canada Goose Tissues. |
