General Note: |
Because of their numbers and size, migrating waterfowl constitute a potential hazard to aircraft. Along the Mississippi Flyway, waterfowl traffic are among the heaviest in the United States. Because waterfowl migrate along definate flight routes and within a certain "fixed" chronology, the times and places of their passage can be predicted within certain limits. This report is concerned primarily with the Mississippi Flyway. |
